Duran Robinson, co-owner of the popular Traxx Atlanta nightclub, who also is the organizer of Atlanta’s Black Gay Pride, was fatally shot early last Wednesday. The slaying of the 50-year-old businessman has rattled Atlanta’s vibrant LGBT community.
Plans are underway to convert Anye’s performance at a Pride event into a tribute for the fallen entrepreneur and community leader. The tribute may include “Just In Case” a unreleased song about gay men who lost their life to violence.
The 14th annual Black Gay Pride will be presented during the Labor Day weekend, with many of the events including Anye’s performance being scheduled at the Loews Atlanta Hotel.
You can listen to "Just In Case" here.
