The Scoop on Cipha Sounds/Shade 45's Gay Rappers Show

Shorty Roc, JFP, ?, Bry'nt, and Solomon at Sirius Radio

Alright, here is what we know about what went down(if you want to know) when Soce, JFP, Shorty Roc, Bry'nt, and Solomon went to Sirius Radio for Shade 45's Cipha Sounds show on gay rappers.

When the gay rappers arrived, they were split into two groups. Each artist got to rap one of their songs and then they did a freestyle against each other in front of a panel of industry insiders and special guests including Donnell Rawlings (Ashy Larry) from Chapelle Show.

We do know who was eliminated early on because they were "too positive" and not "gay" enough. Well right there it looks like Cipha might be trying to define just what the gay rap scene is. Well, time will tell. We also heard that the artists that made it will go onto be on the morning show.

What we don't know is when any of this is airing, but we are told it will be on their YouTube site when it is up!
As we learn more, we will keep you posted. And of course, if you were there, feel free to tell your version!

All of the gay rappers were good peoples. I wish we could've just chilled and cyphered instead of battling each other, but such is the nature of the beast. Maybe some day they will have a gay hip hop show on the channel, just like how often they have old school hours on hip hop stations.. who knows!
