Mixtapes, Beef & Coke!!
Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 3:22PM Greetings muthafuckas! For the 1st time and a lonnnnnnnnnnnng ass time I'm actually excited to write this blog. Maybe it's the fact that certain homohoppers that only up to this point I had a sexual interest in have stepped up their pen game to a new level.(Princess Cat) It could be that I find it very funny that certain MCs can talk a lotta shit on YouTube but will bitch the fuck up and shut the fuck up when real life goons wanna "holla at them"(Deadlee) Could it also be the fact that I find humor in the homohop's senior citizen's blog calling me out on a grammar mistake that I neglected to correct or renaming Atlanta's Twizza the Cokeman to SNL's genderfuck "Pat"? Perhaps it's the fact that I'm really excited that homohop has a real promising MC to rep for the tranneys?(Lola Mazaratti) Or it could be the fact that a no-name, ugly, overweight, blotchy skin fagget, 20 something(but could easily pass for 30 somethingg) hotmess photographer tried to give me my 10o'clockk news?(david laugh) What a joke.
Mixtapes- Prince Cateyez has made a homohop classic with "Cali's Don cheetah". The track that first came to my undivided attention was the comical but lyrical assault "No threat to me" Twizza a.k.a the Cokeman a.k.a. "Pat" diss. There are other bangers like "Oh yeah 09","Hard 4 a fem" &"Misbehave" (Thanks for the shout out) I know Atlanta is the home of the Coca Cola company but I never knew that Twizza would go to such extreme measures to rep this hard for his city. (sniff.sniff) This mixtape has been in my ipod since it dropped.(Unlike the Prettythugs mixtape which was deleted IMMEDIATELY after the first listen to that bullshit from fear of it contaminating' the rest of my playlist with wackness!!!)SUCCESS!!!
Bone Intell "Lay with me" from his "I am Legion" ep.-I received a advance copy of this track a couple of weeks ago and I had to listen to it a couple of times before I could determine it was a Bone Intell track and not a T-pain knockoff. The production is really top of the line and the song is very commercial. I'm still kinda scratching my head because I don't know where or how Bone wants to be perceived by the public with a track like this that is a far,far, fetch from the stick-up kid persona, pop-a-cap- in yo ass "I'm gone get at you my dude" Bone that was choppin it up with Kayslay on shade45 . Overall it's a banger. SUCCESS!!
Medino Green " forget about me"- This kid is the certified T.R.U.T.H.!! This track reminds me of pure 90s eastcoast wit a new modern day style. His delivery is much more complex and lyrically inviting than his outmob "pornstar" buddie. He has a certain sex appeal about his flow that comes thru to the listener without having to use an unnecessary deep voice register like other eastcoast homohoppers.(He also doesn't have to take off his shirt or talk endlessy about sex to sell his sex appeal. This kid just has it.)SUCCESS!!
Lola Mazaratti "Pretty Money"-When I heard the "T" on the scene about their being a new tranney rapper my first thought was "somebody hand me some earplugs!! NOW!" When I checked my twitter and saw that Twizza the cokeman(sniff.sniff) as well as Medino Green(Bry'nt's future successor) cosignin' on this chick. I decided to take a risk and listen to her track. I was blown away at the delivery and overall confidence of Miss Lola. This chick made it very clear to ANYONE that she is in a league of her own with no contenders. The way she switched up her phrases and catchy delivery made me feel like twizza after doing the last line of coke. (I WANTED MORE!!!) I immediately took to twitter and took the liberty of serving up all the other tranney rappers(if you wanna call them that) their official #wackrapperpinkslips.) Lola "the tranney truth" Mazaratti will be releasing her mixtape by mid to late Dec. (Let the countdown begin.)
Videos- I would like to take this time out to give congrats to Melange Lavonne, Johnny Dangerous & Kin4life(Wasn't they up for the same video last year for best of 08?) for being nominated for best videos of 09 on LOGO.
Beef. It has long being a celebrated factor in the art of hip-hop so it is no surprise that beef has found it's way in homohop. This past year we've seen real life homohop beefs. (Bry'nt vs. Shorty Roc, Prince Cateyez vs. Twizza) We've seen WTF? beefs ( Deadlee vs. Bone Intell,Nanoreyes,Last offence....FUCK IT!...the whole eastcoast homohop scene) We've seen blogger beefs(Mickey " the asshole" Skillz vs. Khalil "the ole' man" Amani) We've seen wack rapper beefs (Foxxjazell vs. Pam Jones & the Original) With the certain turn of events that started out as Prince Cateyez calling out Twizza on his drug habit. How the hell did we go from that to Deadlee threatening Eastcoast rappers to stay off his turf on a recent episode of Ghettoviews? As the asshole of the community it's completely out of character to say this but this must come to a end. Beefs are entertaining,comical,hurtful but they should never get to the point where they become DEADLEE. Our community is not big enough (or strong enough) to handle a gay Biggie/tupac beef. Keep it on wax. There is no reason for you to fly from one coast to another coast without the intention of performing but solely 'cause you wanna "holla at somebody". There should be no reason for you to make threats on youtube unless you plan on carrying them out.(This isn't one of your movies. Only cut you'll hear is a bullet cutting into your flesh) Reel talk. I'm bout to take advantage of black friday. Until next month muthafuckas.

I really think that with only a small industry of homohop you don't really have room for division right now. Until we can actually go up to some random person and they know anybody in the industry, we have no space for ebef... plus most of it's tofu anyway.
